Sen. Harry Reid said something he regrets. Whatever. The thing that stinks my socks is all the political ya-hoos and talking heads who are now expressing "outrage." Yes, outrage. It's always outrage, even if the offense is minor. In this case... *shrug*. I'd say it's fairly minor. But then, I'd count lots of other "outrageous" crap as pretty minor ( Read more... )

I think most of the outrage is payback for the "YOU LIE!" yell last year.

I also which people would watch their mouths a little bit better. Why is he making comments about someone's manner of speech? Someone has too much time on their hands if that's a topic of conversation. Then, they can get on with the business of running the country. It's not that hard to watch your words. I've managed to go my whole life without using the word "Negro" or any other archaic way of referring to someone's race/culture.

I think we should all just make fun more often of everyone in politics. It would be more entertaining. Maybe they would all get sick of being ripped on and mind their business. :-)
