One of my favorite guitarists is John Fahey. While I was laid up after shoulder surgery in September all I could listen to was John Fahey, looping over and over on Winamp, as my body and mind lay narcotized on oxycotin. I printed 2 posters on the vandercook presses last night at the San Francisco Center for the Book. I worked fast, laying them out on a galley and blocking it all in on the pressbed. For my job as weapons inspector for the United Nations I traveled to an island in the Pacific where the U.S. military had built a compound. There they made and tested the newest weapons.
