The honest answer? I don't. Like the great country we live in, my spending has far outpaced my income. And if I have to buy a car soon, I will be seriously SOL

I am with Twitch...you probably just need a real budget and actually stick with. The problem with getting another job is that you will be like well I have this much more to spend so you will still keep overspending. Also a second job will entail A LOT of new costs (such as more gas, eating out more often because you are too tired to cook, etc). You should probably see a financial planner and get your budget straightened out or use a program like Quicken (to help you set up a budget). Oh, oh, one more thing. For a while I was doing brand ambassadoring (which they sometimes call modeling, which is pretty funny). Basically getting paid 12-20$/hr for handing out fliers and swag at an event or in a store. These gigs are handy because they are short-term gigs you can get one at a time, committing to a day here and there as convenient. However, the days are usually weekends, and usually 4-8 hours. But. If it's the only money you pick up on the side, losing a Saturday here or there is no big deal.
