yeah. i had a few "bwaaaaahahahah!" moments the other night after i fired it up.

the first one was the pistol sound. just as weak sounding as in the old dooms.

then there was the way the armed ex-marines look when the fire at you. yeah just like in the old dooms.

finally, when i picked up the berserk pack, i almost peed my pants laughing.

Well, with the combined force of Rob, Brad, and Tycho raving about it, I guess I'll have to pick it up immediately. I was gonna wait a bit, since my comp is weak, and various other things.

I beat it on marine and I'm currently sucking my way through nightmare difficulty.

The cyber deamon made me squeal with excitement.

i'm still only knee deep in the dead. i know. i suck. but when enemies show up, my framerate takes a shit.
