A "Hey, ain't my kid the cutest?!" moment.

Jul 01, 2009 15:00

When downloading the pictures of Valhalla off my cell phone I found a couple shots of Der Cute One I took on Father's day. (I'm still not really used to the fact that said day actually applies to me, of course.)
If you can't stand baby pictures, well, drive through. )

She is very cute. You should be a proud papa.

A am proud, indeed. Maybe not so much when she grabs my nose and squeezes it with all her strength, but... ;^)

She is adorable... and just a few months older than my nephew, my brothers son. I bet if we lived closer to each other they would have fun on the playground.

They probably would. It's just over the last couple months that she's really started to take an interest in playing "with" other kids rather then just alongside them (as babies do.) And if the other kid is slightly younger that's a bonus, since Kara likes to be the boss. ;^)

LOL I would love to see who would end up being the boss there. Max also likes to be the boss, the center of attention.
We need to get you three over here to SC!!! Hahah!!

I like the pink car best too! It has that whole Depression Racer thing going.

Kara really has something of a phobia about getting the area around her eyes wet.

Well, I don't really blame her after that episode last year.

I've been wondering if Kara would like a pedal car that looks like that. Oh, my, here's a good looking one, although it's a bit more modern. I wonder how well proposing we spend $380 on a pedal car would go over.

I don't know if it's related to that or not, but I've been puzzling over how to deal with it. "Sorry, kiddo, you *do* have to get your hair washed..." doesn't seem to help...

There's always the Auto-Union C Type pedal car. Were I but a rich midget, I'd so have one of those.

So far as the hair washing, buy her a swim mask and a snorkel. It'll add a certain element of surrealism to bathtime, and she'll prolly have fun wearing them.
