Love Story

Today is my parents' wedding anniversary.  They have been married for a beautifully long time and endured through some difficult years.  My husband and I celebrated our own anniversary a short while ago (a blissful seven years and counting).  Consequently, today I am thinking about putting a love story in my new novel.

Yay for love! In truth, at the core of my novel is a love-story, but it's a story I don't want to overtake everything else, so it should be interesting. :)

Its funny you bring up the delays in writing. At the same time I'm finishing my submission packet, I'm also thinking a great deal about my next book and today I was hit with the inevitable: BE CAREFUL. YOU'LL SPEND UP TO 2 YEARS WORKING ON THIS THING. WHAT ABOUT IT WILL MAKE YOU LOVE IT?

So there you go. That's the thing to let bubble to the surface.
