There's a massive depth of knowledge out there... you just have to dive through the pond scum of: faceless peoples' personal dramas of who-kissed-who at the party last Friday, the people whose 3rd job is telling you how to make a million dollars a month by working at home, and shops that want to sell you stuff that's questionably related to the information you're seeking... all without bumping your head on the rocky seabed of being too technical to understand.
It's there, only it's hard to find because people pad their pages with 40,000 irrelevent key words to generate more hits, and search engines will index indexes of indexes. It's not that the google (or any other crawler) can't find pages mentioning what I want to find, it that the pages they find are lying about their content.
This is all a very old complaint, and I have no new solutions.
