Horrifying monsters, huge creatures that look like they were never meant to exist, are everywhere and all that stands behind them and Jin is a
mecha nothing like the figure he has. The machine is easily destroying the creatures, until it's suddenly stabbed through from behind.
Jin climbs out of the pilot's seat and leaps away from the damaged craft. With a push of a button on a small remote in his hand, the machine explodes, taking the monster with it. Now on foot, Jin draws his katana and slices through the far smaller land-based foes. He takes down many of them without getting hurt, until a large broadsword falls from the air and pierces the right side of his chest and leg. He coughs, momentarily paralyzed by the pain, and then grabs the sword with his left hand and pulls it out of his back.
Already badly injured, he shouts out and charges a vaguely humanoid creature holding a sword identical to the one he pulled out of his chest. They run each other through and Jin staggers back, gasping for air. He stumbles and lands sitting next to the wreckage of his craft. Leaning back, he thinks 'It's quiet now...I don't think...it's ever been this quiet before in my whole life.' He takes a ragged breath, though it doesn't do him any good. 'That is what I sought...and yet...now that the time has finally come...I long for the noise of the past. I long for those hectic and chaotic days that once were. But this too is...pleasant...in an odd sort of way. Yes...the time has come for me to move on...Shion.'
He wakes, sleeping outdoors and breathing heavily, and his eyes fall on the Dreamberry. "Well...I suppose this is what I get for mentioning that this hasn't happened to me yet, hmm?"
