The Asher was damaged too severely to fight properly and I try to make sure I can fight capably even without my mobile weapon.

To damage your mobile suit so severely in battle speaks very little for your skills as a pilot.

*He gives a bit of a sheepish smile.* It wasn't actually mine, but unfortunately it was the only one available since the Vessels of Anima had been...I'll just say decommissioned and Asher was the only one with an alternative power source. I'd never piloted him before, actually, and unfortunately he was outfitted for a very different style of combat from Reuben.

It was necessary, unfortunately. He was too badly damaged to continue fighting and I couldn't afford to waste the chance to defeat the enemy that had destroyed him.

It's alright. Honestly, I'm just glad I managed to accomplish what I set out to do considering just how many Gnosis there were and the fact that Asher isn't my usual craft.
