My cavalier does the same thing. Try putting some STP Gas treatment in evry tank. Our cars are apparently very sensitive.

i brought my truck in for something similar once. they ended up replacing the gas cap, and that was the fix. some seal somewhere was cracking. if it's related to your taking the cap on and off - you might try that before you take it to the dealer and spend $100 for them to run diagnostics to tell you to buy at $30 gascap.
