Erika straightened my hair tonight, and it looks fabulous. I'm still a little weirded out by it.. 'cause my hair has never been straight before, but by the time I get used to it it'll be time to wash my hair, and then the curls will be back. so my mom's neighbor, who has been our neighbor for 22 years, is in the hospital with kidney failure. She has been like a mother to me my whole life, and during the years that my parents were too self-involved to make sure I was taken care of, she stepped in.
