foreign kids, no lesson plan or cirriculum, and they just threw you in there with very little experience or training? Doesn't get much harder than that. Then again, are you expected to be really teaching stuff, or is it more of a camp counselor type gig? If it's the latter, maybe don't stress so much, just bring them around and make sure they don't break anything? If it's the former, well then if you survive it that's prolly a pretty good sign that teaching's what you're meant to do.
Thanks for the encouragement man :) altho technically they didn't throw me in, i sorta begged to get thrown in. they don't usually hire people as inexperienced as me but they know me so they sorta did me a favor. and it's sort of a camp, but an English class camp. i teach them 3 hours every morning, then two days a week we go on trips to different places. well, it's going ok actually i'm about to post some more on it ;) take care, ~k
