Sad day

Last night Nikki and I were home for the evening. We had finished dinner and Nikki was at the window beating on the glass as usual yelling "Dog dog!" to Molly our pit mix, Willett our Beagle and Coco our Papillion. Thanks. We really tried to rehab her into a family dog. She just kept going the other direction. Whenever dogs in the neighborhood came up to the fence and got her worked up, she took it out on a dog less than half her size.

We didn't know what we were getting into with Molly. We gave her every chance to get better and prove us wrong about the breed.

Willett is safe and warm and spoiled rotten.

I just wish I had been able to come home during that time. I was at work pulling my hair out.

I love you dearly and we did the right thing.

It's a horrid thing to have to put a pet down but sometimes it has to be done. When you guys are ready for another big dog let me know I'll help you find one *hugs*

Much, much sympathy. Having a pet put down is one of the hardest things I've ever done.

I'm truly sorry for you all and know that you will all get better. I wish you best over the holidays and hope to see you all soon. I am getting better and hope to return to work soon. I know how hard it is to lose the fight with a pet that has come from a bad back ground. I know you did all that you could and know that what you did was right.
