what is your definition of 0% ??

I'm not sure really, i always thought of 0% as being totally unable to do anything and being tube fed etc, could be wrong though. I've been at the stage where i couldn't move or open my eyes and considered it as about 2%, It must be so different for each individual person.. *hugs* xxx

^^ That's what I thought too... I figure that to do anything at all (even just open your eyes) you need some amount of ability, even if it's 1%. So, I imagine 0% as being pretty much comatose, unable to do anything at all. I don't know if people at 0% have any awareness of their surroundings, I think of them as being too ill for even that. But then I've never been right at the very bottom, so what do I know?

to me 0% is basically were they cant do anything- tube fed, heavy duty painkillers and more than likely hospitalised- not able to speak at all etc.

then 0-say about 10% is very unlikely that looking at antyhing stimulating such as the tele, pc, laptop etc is acheiable.

but no two people ae alike with ME so its hard to say really. just my veiws anyway

i think im going to make it public so if you know anyone who has an oppinion could you shove them in this direction.. im just interested in what peoples views are on it.

Interesting you have this post up. I was just looking at the AYME message board and thinking the same thing.

I would describe 0% as tube fed, extreamly poorly, not able to move/sit/have any for of stimulation not able to talk very much, not able to understand what is going on. Basically the most severe symproms that M.E has to offer. And def not able to use a laptop. You know Jade on AYME/foggy friends? I would describe her a 0%.

I also think that people assess their abilities differently...what one person feels they are may not actually be the case...
