Year in Review

JANUARY
Well today I turned 26 and I have to say that I really don't care. But what I do care for is the fact that more people pay attention to you than normal. That's kind of cool. Kathryn is making me baked ziti for my birthday dinner tonight and I am really looking forward to it. Plus she has been excited about giving me my birthday present for the past several weeks so I it's got my curiosity now too.

MARCH
I suck again. I need to pay more attention to this site and update it more.  Anyway life is good. St. Patrick's Day is here. Got the party this weekend that should be good. Got a girl I love now. Woo hoo! Not much more going on. Anxious for the party.

MAY
I know my Dad won't be reading this any time soon (nor my uncle Den, his twin) but I thought I would post it anyway.  We had the parents over to the house yesterday to celebrate Mother's Day and my Dad's birthday it was fun but a little unorthodox. We had a BBQ around 1pm instead of the usual dinner because Matt had to pick up Damian from the his old ex, evil succubus. But it worked out for the best because it rained after we were done so it was timed perfectly.

JUNE
I really don't like that acronym (sp?) but it fits. This week of work has been very long and stressful.  I am looking forward to the weekend. Saturday, Kathryn and I will be looking for a new place once again in Olympia, hopefully West Oly/Tumwater because I like that area the most. This time we hope to nail down a top candidate.

JULY
Well I've been down with a cold lately and now I am finally getting better after nearly two weeks.  Anyway, we put up signs to sell the house yesterday and I will see about putting it in the paper tomorrow. Woo Hoo!

AUGUST
Well I've gotten my promotion and I will be in the Puyallup area effective October 1st.  Yeah for me I guess. It's a challenge and I get to move back to where I feel most comfortable. Just have to sell the stupid house so I can free my chains.

SEPTEMBER
For the first time in a long time I have the entire house to myself.  I helped Matt move his stuff to Olympia yesterday so he can get a head start and the kids can get into school. Even though it's a little creepy to hear my footsteps echo on the hardwood floors, it's nice to know what it's going to be like when I get my own place up towards Puyallup.

OCTOBER
My stress level is almost hitting an all time high. So bring it on!  Everybody wants their inspections yesterday and they have to tell me every chance they can. GRRRR! Aww well. It's over now. Now, I can start thinking about my new job and getting going.

NOVEMBER
Boy I should put something on this a little less deep and less hippey-like. I have been busy lately.  Training my replace at work all week while getting inspections done, so I can get going on my new endeavor.

DECEMBER
Since there hasn't been anything real significant to talk about lately I haven't updated this.  Still not done Christmas shopping so I am not in the holiday spirit yet. Been spending most my time trying to get the office set up here in Puyallup.

RECAP:

Boy, the saying "if you don't have anything positive to say don't say anything at all" comes to mind.  I kind of had my own little pity party.  The year was a little up and down but I made it sound like a total downer.  I need to look toward the positive, get past the negative and have a short term memory toward anything bad.  What happened in the past I can't change but I can change the future and how I look at it.  So here's to 2006 and staying positive!
