I think this Christmas is going to be pretty lame for the Hovis family. Without a job the best I can do for presents this year is a shit-ton of knitting which sounds just as silly as it actually is. Once again, we'll have to figure out who Miles and I will be spending what time of the day with and somebody is bound to get their feelings hurt ( Read more... )

here is your christmas present: i am going to save up money and take some trips to home depot and we are going to make me a suit of post-apoc armor

yeah, I'm actually really proud of something I just made for my brother. It looks complicated, but it's actually really simple and kinda fun to make. If you would like, I'll make something for you, but there is a waiting list. It's getting to the point where I have knitting cravings. Maybe I should supplant smoking with knitting...
