Hetalia Day 2011
Wow, I don't post very much anymore xD;
Anyway, I got to do Hetalia Day again (and probably for the last time) at a Sacramento meet.
There weren't as many options for me this year on where to go for a meet. (there were more southern California meets than northern!)
I wasn't sure if I wanted to go since I didn't have anyone to go with (again) and I wasn't expecting to see anyone that I knew there (and I'm kinda scared of strangers xD; ) until my mum convinced me to go xDD
So I donned my Werewolf Italy outfit this year again (bad idea, since the weather was around 30c!! DD: )
When I got there, I was first greeted by the Bad Friends Trio in dresses (well, the Spain and Prussia were, and they were just going to get their France to put one on too xDDD ) and then by the rest of the group
(this wasn't everyone. We did do a group photo, but I didn't have my camera out in time for it to be taken (BAD ME!!)
You can see Spain and France on the outsides, and Prussia in the middle xD plus two Hungarys and fem Italy)
I got to hang out with the Spain and a Finland for a bit.
A Germany wanted to do "the pocky game", and while I was chatting with Spain, she just grabbed one just to eat, so I told her to grab another one and do "pocky walrus"
:D
She even had a turtle with her :D
I also got to befriend the China on the right, and she's fluent in Mandarin! 8D
Since I was learning Mandarin in school, we got to talk about Chinese things, and in a little bit of Chinese (so she can help me with speaking! 8'D )
Then at one point we played Truth or Dare.
Someone dared America to run around singing "Friday" D:
someone else dared Spain to shoot a fake gun at Russia and have Russia collapse in slow motion xDD
I got asked truth by fem Italy, and she asked me what my favourite pasta was (the most difficult question in the world for me to answer both as Italy and as me D: ).
Then the game slowly died (no thanks to me xD )
Then the two Chinas got to play a bit of Go (that Chinese China brought along) I wanted to learn how to play, but I just watched xD
At one point some of the group split off to go play somewhere. At one point I heard whooping and hollering, and I see one of them riding in a shopping cart and the others pushing them along (I wasn't sure whether to laugh or not since they could have gotten in trouble xD )
Later in the meet, a watercolour artist comes along with pictures of female Axis and Allies for everyone to take, and do requests. I brought home fem Japan.
She brought a book for everyone to draw in, and I drew a picture of Italy squishing a cat's paw, and England with his flying mint bunny (and America in the background going WTF). I didn't take photos of them, but maybe I'll upload them later if I get photos from her)
And the day finally ended with a conversation with China about our Chinese names (I had to make up a name for my Chinese class.
I would have liked to have gone to another Hetalia meet that was on the actual day, but because of a family emergency, I wasn't able to. ;n;
Hope everyone else had an awesome Hetalia Day where they lived (I still envy Singapore's meetup. I would have liked to have been there D: )
