You can be there for your Aunt by just comforting her and guiding her through it. You don't have to offer any words, just be there as a shoulder for her to cry on. You'll make it through. You're stronge than you think.

Maybe that is the point for God to take lives then, to teach those around said person a lesson. If things like this were to never happen, we wouldn't be able to cope with death and overcome hardships, and we might not appreciate things as much as we could. It's how we learn to love. :D
I am sorry to hear about your loss Andrea. Just know that it doesn't matter that you weren't doing your best at the time. There's no way you could have known or anything. It's not your fault. You couldn't have been doing anything too bad, because really you are a great person and could do no wrong.
