Naruto's Choice
THERE WILL BE SPOILERS FOR THE NEW NARUTO CHAPTER!!!

So, I just had to comment about this chapter. I used to be a NaruHina fan when I first started reading Naruto, but somewhere along the line, I figures that Naruto and Hinata just wouldn't fit just like SasuSaku was never meant to be. I've read stories of Hinata being paired with practically everyone - some were good, some were bad, some were funny and some abysmal. SasuHina became my favourite pairing somewhere along the line and I've never looked back.
And now this chapter comes up.
Some of the drawings were absolute love. Any Hinata-time is good-time in my book, but having some fantastic shots of her (this being my absolute favourite - hell, Hinata looks cool!) is a super-added bonus. And 'I nearly went the wrong way'? I would have loved to know more....
But am I the only one who's tired of the good ol' plot line 'friend/girl/random someone protects Naruto's ass nearly dying in the process, Naruto goes haywire, nearly turns into kyuubi, beats enemy to a pulp, fight again to turn Naruto back to normal and everyone lives happily ever after (until next idiot tries to kill Naruto)'? It reminded me so much of the time when Team 7 were at the Bridge in Wave country and Naruto thought Sasuke had died saving him. So blah. :-/
The chances of Hinata dying are low though. She's only there to make Naruto see (or in HIS case, go) red. And yeah, Naruto might have blushed or something. The girl's declaring her love for you, you dumbass.
Speaking of blushing - Hinata DID NOT STUTTER. Bless. I'm happy. :D
Otherwise, regards the previous chapter, Nagato made sense AND we'll also give him points for stating the obvious i.e. Konoha's full of hippocrites. But he needs a nutritionist. Fast.
What I'd love to see, is Sasuke jumping into the fray saving Hinata, who manages to get up and fight :p I know, not going to happen. But a girl's got to hope when her favourite ship has been sunk by an iceburg! :-/
