* The electrical crew came by today - to free the pinned wire from under the tree & reconnect back to the house. Yes, we have power, but one wonders if we should have with the dry tree pinned like that.  Yay! Now we can give away the fire wood to our friends who want it. Check that off the list. . . .

The best thing about LJ is that you can always change names, edit entries, and post privately if you need the change of pace. I can't tell you how many times I've done just that.

I love it that that this is private. I got a facebook too, but I haven't really used it. It seems wierd with my name on it and all---especially with my freaky ex husband who seems to think my life is still his business.

Speaking of freaky, I'm sorry about the encounter with the neighbor. I know what you mean about the soap! Sometimes after I talk to creepy guys, I just want to use Comet on my skin. I wish they didn't affect me like that. They just give me the willies!

On F.B. I'm 'right out there' and well, I'm feeling that while it's nice to stay connected w/people/ old friends - I feel like I have to have my 'game face' or my 'happy mask' on all the time. Here, I can be happy, pissed, dressed up and composed or just hangin' out in sweat pants and no bra. ya know?

Yes, Creepy neighbor man is just - grossly creepy. I can't even begin to describe how so. His wife is just as creepy - seriously I have dark fears of what they are really like.
The only good thing I can really say about them is - 1) their yard and property are always immaculate and 2) they keep to themselves 99% of the time. . . but remember he's the one with the giant plastic scrotum hanging from the hitch on the back of his truck. Yep. You read that correctly.
Showering didn't work btw - I still feel so 'violated' just by his comment. Ew.

Let's just say - I don't let the kids out in the yard alone.

(he's the one too that we strongly suspect put the Ayrian Nation/White Supremisist materials on our door step when the girls were born. . . all about"protection for our fair skinned/blue eyed daughters. .. ." Ew. Just - Ew.)

I just keep prayed up and ask God to put a hedge of angels all around my home and my children. I know his house is paid for and he'll probably die in it.

Hubman heard a rumor at work that this is taking so long because of some Duke labor dispute and basically when they called skeleton crews from North Carolina etc. . . it was because they were willing to cross the 'pickett lines' or something. . . .JUST a rumor, but still. There are still people w/out power tonight. One of Sweetpea's friends at school JUST got power last night. CRAZY. Crazy I say!
