I'm here and well, back.  Been on the DL w/Facebook....okay not so much on the DL there, since I use my real name there.  I've missed Live Journal and now that they're celebrating a birthday, I thought I'd come home.....

I've been writing some, but busy mostly - busy being myself

I wish you'd come back and stay back! I feel a little like a clingy toddler, but oh how I miss you, lady. I check FB from time to time, but it just doesn't fit me right. That said, I have fallen off of the lj wagon myself. I update out of habit and want, but haven't forced myself to give anything substantial since the big move.

35 pounds? You rock. ROCK.

went off antidepressants
moved across the country
still live in a house of boxes

I love FB but I miss here too - going to make more of an effort once Rosebud is back in school - finally - and make it more for writing prose and essays. We'll see....I get so little adult conversation that FB helps immensely but I need more. . . and some creative outlet. I'm sure you get me on this.

Yes, I have worked very hard and am rocking the lbs off as fast as I can. Not going back.
I may post before and after pix here or on FB - we shall see. They are dramatic already.

You've been pretty darn busy too lady!! I am sooo psyched that you are closer and in a place that's not hot all the time.
LOVE the nose ring, and am thrilled and thankful as punch that you didn't get PPD!!!!! How cool is that?!?!?!

You know flattery will get ya everywhere, and you had me at "illustrious" LOL!!!!

hi! oh, how you've been missed! I'm on FB too, and I'd love to be "friends" with you. let me know how you feel about that.

my life:.
-the girlfriend and I moved in together
-my mom has ovarian cancer, had a huge surgery and just finished chemo
-ijust hit the 25 lb mark today! (see most recent entry).
-emmy is wonderfully spunky and is slowly learning to read (!)
-i hate my job and am looking for a new one (which I haven't even updated about yet)
-i have apparently grown a new fondness for parentheses
-i have a blog! meltiniwrites.com
-ive been struggling with anxiety issues like crazy, but am for the most part in control of them
-ive been missing you!

I totally thought you had dropped me from your friends list.

Dunno how long its been (I've been very busy also) but had a baby 10.5 months ago and I don't think things will ever slow down.

Hope things start looking up on the home front and congrats on the weight loss!
