My first born daughter began Kindergarten today.  My little Schmee. . . my sweetpea. . . is now a kindergartener.  Wasn't I just newly pregnant with her yesterday?  Wasn't I just in labor and realizing that she was going to come out of me one way or another? The producers are throwing us a "Blessing Way" tonight to 'bless the show' and us performing in it.  It's so kind of them.  They are 95% all midwives so I know it will be really special.  We are to bring 13 of the same bead that represents us and we will share and make necklaces. . . as well as a quote or poem.  Since I use the metaphor of 'birth' ( Read more... )

Hubman is home today - took a personal day.

I had time to study lines = fabulous and so appreciated.

I am ordering some clothes for the show - once again - why can't I lose like 25 lbs before L.D. Weekend ? ? Grrrrrrrr......not to mention I need some major support underware.  Sorry if that's TMI - just, sorry.

   Really productive and long rehearsal tonight.   We got a lot done and have made some great progress.

However, tonight was one of those night where I felt like I didn't say enough, and when I did it was stupid. Downright dumb, stupid and dorky.

.  .  .  .  Just 1 and a half to 2 hours per day.  I'd settle for even just one solid hour per day.  That's all I really need right now to go over my lines & review blocking before rehearsals.   I just had 1.7 hrs just now - while Hubman had the kids at the grocery store - and I feel SO much better prepared for tonight's 4 hour rehearsal.  Calm.  ( Read more... )
