Someone (Writer's choice) chemically removes Wade's healing factor. They don't notice this until Wade gets injured (serious, but nothing fatal. Bullet to the shoulder, maybe, since shoulder wounds are sexy). Nate is determined to fix this before cancer or injury kill Wade, while Wade thinks about Death (the experience or the entity; whichever).

I really love Wade's alertness and hostility toward doctors...for some reason, its sooo hot! and sad-adorable, but mostly hot.
The scene Wade giving Nate a fair warning is so amazing and Wade and Nate in your fic are perfectly in character! so canon!
love this so much, please continue writing it~

Breaking into a Hydra base was never particularly hard.

Wade hummed the Mission Impossible theme very quietly as he slunk around corners and dodged guards, looking for a likely place to store prisoners. It was odd actually bothering to avoid guards, although it did make it easier not to kill them ( ... )

I continue to love this a lot. The character is awesome; the discussion between Wade & Nate was very d'awww with the awkwardness and resentment and love all mixed up. Plot thickens! And it makes sense, even! And Weasel was great too, yee!

Wade had a little trouble getting on a flight out of Pakistan, and it involved a lot more sneaking, but it did help that he’d stashed most of the flashier gear; he wasn’t expecting to need it for this. It took a day and a half to reach the place Wolverine was staying, but it was definitely worth the effort, because he was camping out all by himself in the woods, getting in touch with nature or whatever. So of course Wade had to give creeping up on him a go, even if it was doomed to fail ( ... )

I can't believe this, this fic is keep getting better and better! I really want to know what happens next but then again I'm kinda sad because it means that the end of story is closer now. The door to his apartment was slightly open, but Wade still felt too hollow to react to much, so he just wandered in. Wasn't as though he had much worth stealing in there anyway, it was barely a step up from the boltholes he maintained in other places ( ... )

aww, rubbing alcohol! that was so nice....in really clingy way, I have to agree with that there.

I love how Wade is all depressed and hollow for not dying...and I almost want to kick Nate in his face for not getting that. (only not getting it part, I do appreciate him saving Wade...cuz you know, Wade!)
The part yellow box talks about being with death was so awesome!! it's kinda sad and yet hilarious!! LOLololol
