Alright, alright, I'm back now. Here ya go kids. (You're just lucky the other one didn't run out in the middle of my vacation grumble grumble)

Rules of the meme:

1. Anonymously post a pairing and prompt you would like to see written. Since this is a kink meme, there is supposted to be a kink involved, but normal well-written prompts should work ( Read more... )

Here, have another fill! The above one is awesome so just think of this as a bonus. Or a minus, or whatever ( ... )

"I imagine you intend to-- ah-- do that anyway," he gasps, and Blake takes a step back, lets him crumple to the floor. He'll have bruised knees tonight. (The cold slam of marble a homecoming; the rag-edged breath that escapes him might as well be a prayer.)

There is no reply, just a low chuckle, a sound in the throat covering up its urgency with contempt, and Blake's hands moving to unfasten his fly. His cock sticks out unapologetically, a bald demand (no underwear, not that that's a surprise) and Adrian twists his head away to one side. It's a token struggle, a make-me-feel-helpless-I-dare-you, but Blake buries fingers in his hair and twists back like he means it, anyway ( ... )

Blake's hands, working at his belt, exposing him. He's on his stomach, then, a bite of cold at marble on skin, breath jolting out in whimpers of something that should be protest, Blake behind him, forcing his legs apart, forcing his way in-- And Blake's cock is slick with spit but it's nothing like enough and it's a pain that comes in sharp bursts and does not give way-- He's pushing back helplessly, finding no purchase on the polished floor, pleas stolen involuntary out of his throat, choke-whispers of no and please don't that really mean yes and please don't stop(He's not sure Blake's reaction would be any different if they were real. He probably shouldn't find that comforting ( ... )

Wow, I really like this. This pairing is one of my favorite, and you captured what I love about it the most--the power struggle and the equality. They're so evenly matched, and I love that you show that even though Blake's (kind of) in control, he could very easily not be.

Not to mention the poetry of your writing :3

Great work anon!

I'm glad you liked it, anon! :) Someone (I can't remember who) said that their take on Adrian was that he secretly really really wants to be dominated, but is far too much of a control freak to let it happen, hence all the controlling-things-from-the-bottom. And Blake is probably pretty aware of that, but as long as he gets his rocks off I don't think he cares. ;)

This is wonderful. So much description, so many little phrases slotting perfectly into place to build atmosphere. And the atmospehere is so perfect, quietly delicate and despairing ... If I started quoting my favorite bits I could easily quite half the fic. And you do a stunning characterization of Adrian here, overthinking everything and settling into cynical irony and not admitting even to himself that he needs real comfort. And Blake being so cruel and so hard-edged ... guh.

Okay, two favorite lines:

"Adrian thinks that perhaps he could push his fingers into the crack, peel off the outer layer of man and find something underneath that is entirely monster. He thinks that perhaps he would like that."

"(He's not sure Blake's reaction would be any different if they were real. He probably shouldn't find that comforting.)"

One of the best-characterized and best-written fics on the meme. <3 <3 <3 <3

Oh, thanks so much! I'm glad you liked it.

settling into cynical irony and not admitting even to himself that he needs real comfort.

Yeah, I see that as being very him. ;) I get the impression he wouldn't necessarily see the need for comfort as a fault in other people, but he feels that he should be above it somehow.

This is really excellent, as it shows the psychological dynamic that lead to murder.

I try to write porn and it turns into thinky-stuff. This is my curse.

(Thanks, glad you liked it!)

Well it would have to turn into thinky-stuff since it's about Adrian Veidt.

Hehe! Well, yes, he is incapable of not doing that.
