OMG, I just found them -- I swear, they're the Mekons. Go listen to "Prince of Darkness" (the 3:04 version.) Or "Sleepless Nights." Or "My song at night." Omg, I'm going to pretend this is them.

This is goddamn awesome. I giggled at "God would have struck him down" and you have no idea how much I want to hear this. At the very least, I'd give my figurative left nut to read about one of their (successful) gigs.

I was gonna write this as Doug Roth, but couldn't find my copy of the GN to bite his style adequately. I may use him for another interlude, though.
