I think it might be the latest Nvidia driver that Steam recommends you download before playing. I tried using that with my box and it consistantly blue screens.

Well, the latest stable driver release for my card (6600GT) was in May, so they should have had plenty of time to test with it.

You may want to send them a bug report given that the game is still in beta.

That's very weird. While I commiserate with you on the installation length problems (sigh), I have had no stability problems at all. And you were the first I heard of it (bout 50 people in a gaming community I'm on all are playing).

I second fallen's suggestion to file a bug report. I've been running the latest Nvidia drives (7900 GS, dated 6/29/07).
