Sent to earth to escape his planet's destruction, he was adopted by Sylvia Kovacs and raised as her own. Now, disguised as Walter Kovacs, mild-mannered garment district worker, he uses his alien superpowers to fight crime.

TL;DR: give Rorschach Superman's backstory and powers (but he gets to keep his ugly mug and unique social skills.)

So we've seen tons of OT3 with Walter/Dan/Laurie... how about a little bit of Dan/Laurie/Jon?

Does our favorite blue man come back post-GN/movie and insert himself(/ves) into Dan and Laurie's relationship? Was there a D/L/J missing scene moment in the canon? I don't care how you do it, anon, but dude. Somebody's gotta write this!

Moved from the old meme:

Dan and Rorschach are out on patrol, doing what they do best, when Rorschach takes a severe hit to the head in the midst of a heated battle. He might throw up, he might have to shake it off, but no matter the case - he of course keeps on fighting like nothing's wrong.

Dan doesn't even realize that Rorschach has a concussion until, as their evening progresses, Rorschach's behavior gets weirder and weirder. And weirder.

One anon is considering filling it but might not have the time. I'd really love to see this one done, and I need some hardcore cheering up tonight. :( So, if anyone takes it on, I'll love you forever.

Anon wants to see Watchmen set in the universes of your favorite, old Nick shows. Are You Afraid of the Dark, The Secret World of Alex Mac, Space Cases (especially this!), you name it.

If you want to be cracky, game shows are also acceptable. I could totally see Lil' Walter punching a temple guardian in the balls if one jumped out at him during Legends of the Hidden Temple.

(For anons who didn't grow up with Nickelodeon, no sweat. Pick your favorite show from your youth, just point us to some back story on it so we know what it's about.)

Oh, oh, want. Are You Afraid of the Dark done Watchmen style would be so beyond awesome. Damn, might end up claiming this myself.

I was hoping someone would pick this. :D

The best thing is that, if you so wished, you could canonically include both the Minutemen and the Crimebusters without having to fudge their ages-- AYAotD ended with a movie where the Nex Gen era of the Midnight Society met up with the 40's/50's era group. Who, by that point, had developed a whole host of unfortunate psychological issues. Not unlike the Minutemen themselves.

Mnn, so very very tempted... hmm. No promises, but I'll give it a shot. I'll have to find some of the episodes--for reference, you know?--but I'll see where I'll go from there.

Although, seriously if I don't someone HAS to take this prompt because it's too damn awesome not to.

...okay, are arranged marriages still bad if the arrangees are both head over heels for each other?

Charlie's still kind of an ass, but I can't be TOO mad at him at this point, since he seems to be giving Wanda everything she's ever wanted (family, good home, validation for her core values, and of course, Daniel). I can just see her next journal entry. "Rorschach's Journal: Life is wonderful."

And Dan! He is so sweet and adorable, though I feel bad for everything being thrown at him so quickly. Looks like he's getting what he wants, too, that fire and passion of Wanda's (though I don't envy him his new father-in-law!)

Can't wait to see what's next! I want to see how complicated it gets, too!
