alright, i am so excited, spamalot is coming to houston! yay i get to see it.
thing is, i am not sure if i would be comfortable seeing it with my parents, but i think they might want to see it.
so those of you that have seen it, if you could let me know of any mature moments monty python surely put into the show.

I went with my mother a few years ago and I had the same worries. Luckily it's not too bad, except for a huge song-and-dance extravaganza about Lancelot being gay. Other than that it's relatively tame (no F-bombs or anything) and I highly recommend it!

so you would say the lancelot part would be the "worst"? if so, i have seen that on youtube, and i may just go see it with them
i recall watching the movie with them and being extremly uncomfortable at the galahad/ virgins part "a spanking!", "and then, the oral sex!" lol

Well the only reason I say it was the "worst" was because that's what my mother reacted most harshly to. It's not that she's homophobic, but that she wonders why it's such a big deal for one of the knights to be gay. I personally think the song is great, but she just felt it was too over-the-top.

The show is very different from the movie, and I don't remember if the oral sex joke is in there. I doubt it, since they don't go to the castle Anthrax.

its all good, just trying to make sure there was nothing worse, with monty python i was sure it would be more then that. but thats fine with me :)
