What an ironic time to make this post. My grandmother was found unconscious in her apartment today after she suffered a serious stroke. Needless to say, these exact thoughts have been going through my head all day.

oh kate, i'm so sorry. *hugs* how is she doing?

Paralyzed on her right side, but as my dad said, she's a leftie anyways. Her speech is really slurred now, but they think she might recover a bit from that. She starts physical therapy tomorrow and my dad flew out this morning to see her. It looks like she won't be leaving us anytime soon, but I'm scared that she won't be able to make it to my graduation.

At least she's surrounded by the people who she loves.
