I'm usually pretty optimistic... I try not to see the bad in people, but rather I'm almost involuntarily compelled to seek the good.

It is difficult to do so, however, when being sassed by a snotty library patron.

Me: Could you take your call outside, please?
Patron: (cell phone to her left ear, finger in her right) WHAT??
Me: (a bit louder this time)

I got that from an MIS professor when I worked in Terry IT. It was in regards to a personal computer that he got in Japan, which typed in Japanese, and he couldn't read. It didn't have a UGA barcode, so I couldn't legally touch it. Nice job, buddy! It's not just students these day, it's everyone.
