And after talking with Flame, she and I have determined that because Spring is the best season and it is good to start the year off well,

this should mark the beginning of the year!After all, it is not like we know why years start the way we are used to them starting! Why not say that

The only bad thing about a spring new year is that it makes the winter depressing. The old year's dying.

It is not depressing! It means that it is your last season to seize the year in!
