Twenty-seventh Lotus

I do not know if anyone has the answer to this but I will ask and hope that it is not a bad question - how does something turn from a hobby to a job? That is, paid? I am not asking where the money comes from. I am trying to find out so that Apple can have people helping him and to make sure that the animals stay fed ( Read more... )

If there are people interested in the same purpose the hobby serves, yet they do not have the capability or time to do it themselves, so they provide monetary support for someone else to do it for their mutual benefit... I suppose.

That could work! If more people are aware that the shelter is not a paid job then more would help! Thank you Stellaris!

I am trying to ask around a question as well, since some positions and occupations are paid.

I'm glad if it can give you an idea, even though I'm not sure what the context is.

And for the other question, there is nothing unusual about my walls today.

He's testing the walls, because it's hard to believe he suddenly can't run up them. spandexisyouth August 11 2010, 15:39:57 UTC
The context is that Apple runs the shelter alone. It is a needed service because many people get pets from there and then when someone leaves often their pet is taken care of. I think that pets are very much enjoyed.

Oh. By yours you are talking about your house, or a workplace?

Gosh, I'm not sure--maybe it could be counted as part of the farm. It's on the same island.

What do you mean not working right?

Then could funds go to that too? I do not think he needs a lot, but it would be good to see that he gets something for his work, and to make sure the animals get fed.

They are slippery somehow. I cannot run up them. It is like they are not really there because I cannot feel them through my feet. It is very hard to explain with words.

[And given other journal entries this morning there's a delay before she replies as she makes sure she can still chant her Chakra... which she can. Whew.]

I'm sure they could! I don't know who's in charge of the farm, but it sounds pretty reasonable. And maybe the next charity thing could have part of the money go there, too.

I don't think you're the only one this is happening to. That's not right.

I will go to the farm and find out! And that is an excellent idea about the charity!

But it is the walls! It is not [His own writing stops as he tries to bring energy to his fists and fails.] It is me.

The walls? That's a weird question, Youth...

Are you okay?

I am okay! I am always okay! I am even more than okay! I am good!

It is weird but the walls are being weird.

You know, that's a little hard to believe. Maybe if you'd just said, "Yeah, I'm okay!", then I'd actually believe you.

How are they being weird?

"I'm" is an informal way of writing and I enjoy being polite so I do not use contractions often!

They are there but they do not feel there.

You're welcome. ^_^

Perhaps you should take the one person's advice and not climb or run up the walls so much. :)
