IC: Letter from "Anna"
Dear Kurtis,
How were the cookies? I’m sorry I haven’t been able to come visit these past couple of weeks. I’ve been putting in extra hours on the weekends because it’s getting close to the holiday season and they need all these new designs done in time. Hopefully, this letter will make things up to you just a little bit.
I hope everything’s going well. It’s hard to believe that a month has already gone by. Don’t worry, we definitely haven’t forgotten about you - Nigel especially. He keeps bugging me about when you’re going to come home. It’s getting a little hard to keep telling him that I don’t know and that he has to give you time.
I miss you a lot too, Kurtis. Our friends still drop in regularly to check up on me, and the neighbors are finally working up the courage to speak to me again whenever we run into each other (About time, I say!), but the house still feels so empty without you around. Sometimes, when I wake up, I still expect to look over and see you right next to me.

Sorry, I didn’t mean to be so depressing. There’s just been so much going on that I feel like I’m walking around in a daze half the time. I think I just need you around. Is there any way you can write back? Will they let you? If you can, I’d love to hear from you, and so would everyone else, of course.
