Whoah!

That's why I have all this black, white and green stuff. We were going to get married on 2/23 at this tiny Cuban restaurant. My dad had a falling out with the restaurant guy and he moved out date.... he went to the other hotel all by himself and reserved the 5/16 date without telling anyone until a month later. Which means, I already had all my plans (invites prepared, save the dates already mailed, vacation time separated at work, black and white wedding dress, etc) shattered.

It's a long story. But yeah, sorry that got stuck in there!!! Feel free to toss it.

Ah, it all makes sense now! bttrflyscar April 1 2008, 21:01:15 UTC
Thanks again for the stuff, I love it and it works really well, and aids a flair to what I was already planning on doing...

Could you tell me where I can get more of those envelopes if I need more (just the big white ones)

I don't want to throw it out! NO way! It's given me something to work off of.

I got them at a stationery store here called M. Hopple, but I found that they carried them through the envelopments site. (Envelopments.com) I believe they are the "white linen" in the "portrait" variety. I would share the link but their site is down right now :(

These guys have them too:

but I have no idea what their prices are there....

One thing to keep in mind is that I made the mistake of using a black border for my earlier invites (I am glad you like it :) ), and I didn't realize that black borders immediately imply mourning and death. I would have made a white border instead....

I can't wait to see what you come up with :) :) :)

wow, it all looks so intimidating. I'm impressed. Everything looks romantically beautiful. Here's to dreams coming true.

Hehe, it is a little intimidating to me too- there is a fine dance to be had between what I want and what my mother wants. If it were up to us we'd be barefoot in the sand- no fuss, just friends.
Unfortunately, having to do it on the island means no friends, since none can afford to come so we didn't even try to ask, and since I can't be barefoot I bought the loudest shoes I possibly could ;)

I miss the crap out of you, by the way. You are entirely too far away.

Did wanted to comment on your favorite gemstone from my poll in weddingplans. I adore fire opals! It's rare that anyone knows the distinction which is why I didn't include it in the poll. That and the poll only lets me have a limited number of choices. Good taste! :)

Well thank you!
Fire opals are lovely- I originally wanted an e-ring that incorporated them but then I found out how brittle they are :(
