As a dissatisfied idealist and humanistic Jew, I feel odd mentioning Christmas as a personal experience... but set to Music, I feel that all of the symbolism just might include me.
Sometimes folksongs of the Birth-of-Jesus persuasion move me to tears and I cling to the idea that this is the "Christmas Spirit" people talk about.

On a similar note, Jerrica gained a TON of points the other day when she informed me that her family doesn't really celebrate Christmas that much, and they don't do it for the reasons that most other Christians do. Seeing as Jesus wasn't actually born in the winter. (Because that'd be crazy and bad for the child.)
Yay for people who actually THINK a little.
You know, you might try doing an LJ cut and spacing out those lyrics and stuff, just to clean up the page a little. *shrugs* It just seems like a wall-of-text sometimes, so it's a little agressive on the eyes. At least, for me personally, I tend not to read things that are all clumped like that. >_

Well, this song's lyrics have such LONG sentences, and I hate breaking stanza mid-sentence like some poets do. But I'll do what I can!
