I have no idea as to how I will spend my time this summer. I was planning on going to a volleyball camp but then that didn't work out. I don't have a job, I can't drive and today has been a depressing day. I need some new summer clothes but I can't go shopping because my mom never likes to go shopping anymore. I just feel alone. Alrighty, this is what i'm going to tell you, because I was in a similar situation this past winter. Kelly, it's very easy to stay close to God during the hard times. It's actually the GOOD times that are harder to trust God in. Don't worry about what you are going to do this summer- God has a plan. Believe me, sweetie! i know what i'm talking about here. Just give glory to God for the things you have even if you don't necessarily appreciate them right now. It's very important to do this, because if you don't, you'll begin to resent everything that you have. Also, the only way you'll be able to get closer to God is if you try. Jesus told the disciples to "Pray and never give up." Try it!

This summer when I get back from Uganda I'll drive you places! I'm like, a professional chauffer :) No seriously though, when I get back we'll hang out and therefore I can give you rides sometimes. Like to the mall to go shopping :)

You are both such an encouragement to me. Thanks for the advice Samantha and thanks for your free "chauffering services" Tina :0) You guys are such a blast to be with and have been a real blessing to me this past year.

As you know I will be in Jackson on Saturday (with the book) Tina and I are going to be doing a bit of shopping, and lunch before we go to samantha's open house, tina will be using her wonderful driving skills to tote us all over. You are more than welcome to join us. I will be working at a camp this summer (june 12- july 8), it is a christian camp and i will be a counselor (sp?). If you give me your mailing address (when I see you next) I could write you letters, it might give you something quasi-perky to do, and as an added bonus if you write back i have to do a funny dance to get the letter. I would love to hang out with you this summer when i get back, you are a dynamo!
