There once was a girl named Spaniotita and she lived far, far away from her homeland of Maethodoron. Spaniotita loved to sew. She had learned how to make a shirt and a pair of pants from the strapping, young, handsome Araduin and had escelated from there. She went on to make shirts, skirts, dresses, vests, etc. She loved making beautiful clothing

Yeah i know...she said she had looked every time or that she hadn't seen it in her process of moving everything in her sewing room...apparently the stuffed animals didn't move :-P

Have you tried the passive "ignore me please" method of an mp3 player? The earbuds in your ears should be obvious, even if they're not plugged into anything, just tucked into your pocket ... Of course, Kathy doesn't, from what you've written, seem like the sort who'd be deterred by earbuds ...

Having met Kathy, I can tell you that if you were on fire, she'd relate a story about the time she burnt her hand on the tailpipe of her car as opposed to putting you out.

Strapping? Araduin always considered that a fire hazard...

This way Spaniotita does not have to interact with Kathy, in fear that she will not be very nice to her.
