Where to begin?
So much has happened! I don't even know where to begin!!
So, least importantly, Danny got married. Danny. Got. Married. MY BIG BROTHER DANNY GOT MARRIED!!!! OHMYGODWHYDIDN'TANYONETELLME?!?!?! Okay...I'm not actually related to Danny, but he was LIKE big brother for soooo long...and he got married! And no one told me!!! :( I almost started crying when I found out! He lives with her in Annapolis!!! GAH!! Why didn't anyone tell me? That's not fair.
Danny's little sister, Sarah Lynn, was my best friend. Growing up he was always around...being genuinely silly in order to keep us happy and to keep our minds off of the shit that was going on around us. But they moved to Spain, then California, and when they got back Danny was in a BAAAAAD place. He wouldn't speak to me. He wouldn't speak to anyone. One day he disappeared, come to find out later he'd moved back to Cali and was living in a studio apartment with 5 other guys, without a job, and supposedly hooked on some shit. Somehow his parents convinced him to move back home (here). They started having problems, and his world became really unstable, so he decided to go back to school. For real. He studied film, did amazingly well, and got a job. We stopped talking, mainly cuz it was just so hard to keep in touch, but also because his sisters (who I had actually been closer with) weren't speaking to me anymore and it was just weird for us both. Anyway...his dad called today and my dad answered. About ten minutes later I hear my dad yell "Danny Lynn did WHAT?!" ....he got married in August, Mr Cliff never bothered to tell us. He forgot he hadn't told us and just told my dad "Dan got [wife's name here] pregnant". This sounds really bad when a couple isn't married. When they are, it sounds wonderful!! Anyway, Mr Cliff had called because Danny wants me to come meet [wife] because they are planning on having a big party for her. I don't know really what's going on...I just know I'm invited, and Danny wants me to be there because his sisters are gonna be there.
Um, I worked Black Friday. Boy was that a hoot. I swear to god I have never seen so many people at that mall ever. It was way too weird for me. But I enjoyed being soooo busy.
Unfortunately that didn't last. The very next day, I got to work and it was D.E.A.D. BUT! I had FOUR visitors!! :D Gina came by about an hour after I'd gotten there. She'd been there just as long, and her store was just as dead, so she went on a "coffee break" to come see me. And Laura came :D cuz she's awesome like that. And then Erin had told me she was coming by maybe on Saturday with a surprise. I had asked her to pick something up for me at her store, so I figured it was that. SO WRONG! I looked over at the door as Erin walked in and next to her was...KIRSTEN!! YAY!!! :) I ran around the counter to give her a big hug!
I went to Ryan's after work yesterday. We went on a little walk, heading toward the playground, but we never made it. I decided I wanted to sit by the silly little lake thing instead, cuz I was exhausted. So we went back to his house, watched this terrible movied that I loved when I was little called "The Polar Bear King" and played monopoly. It was a (fairly) uneventful night.
I think there was a lot more I wanted to write about, but my brain kind of died out after the bit about Danny, so I'm going to be done for the night.
