[edit: sorry for clogging up your friends pages. you don't have to read all of this if you don't want to. it's all just a momentary lapse of emotional control.]

today was a rather (de)constructive day.

first I didn't turn in my essay for ENG110H because... well, because I never started it. I'll turn it in Wednesday... if I don't win the lottery ( Read more... )

Joe, I was too lazy to email and you weren't on AIM, so my apologies that this comment pertains in no way to that about which you were writing. Now, somewhere around these parts you mentioned two voids in your life. Like my father and his incessant need to feed my friends, I too feel the need to feed you, musically. Thus, a bright, shiny, new CD, entitled Weezer - The Blue Album / Counting Crows - August & Everyhting After, will be coming your way. Just wanted to let you know.

Cullen

PS. I think you might enjoy this local band from around my parts called Briertone (http://www.purevolume.com/briertone). I am going to say alt country meets emo?

when I will stop getting the urge to mail her a friendly letter? when will I be able to live every day of my life unafraid that she's going to pop back into it? when will I stop dreaming about her? From my experience in this kind of situation: never. You'll never stop. It will never completely go away. I wish I could lie to you and say that there was a way to magically make it dissapear, as I wished someone would have told me when I was going through the same thing, but I can't do that to you. You are too dear to me. I have to be straightforward and honest. There's always going to be a part of you that mulls over the past and strangles you with memories until you're writhing on the floor. But it gets fewer and far between; I promise you that much, at least ( ... )
