We're getting ready to go down to Palo Alto to spend the night at friends' before the operation. I'm actually still not nervous. I'm really looking forward to feeling better. And stronger. I'm going in for a heart "operation" on Tuesday. They're doing an ablasion, where they tread catheters to my heart through some veins, and burn off these nodes which are causing atrial fibrillation. So..Easter. Hid 71 eggs (one broke when the youngest tried that trick of squeezing the egg without breaking it--didn't work). Kids found 68 (another broke in the search, 3 missing). We got paid on Tuesday and Friday, and it's almost all gone. Between bills and rent, there's not a lot left. And I hadn't bought the Easter stuff yet. Til this morning.
