Are you talking about regular LJ html code, or the super-duper, fancy-pants customized LJ code that makes your LJ look not like LJ? I might be able to help, though I know not this Exalted of which you speak. :D

This is how illiterate I am with this, hehehe. I just want it to be attractive and functional. I don't want it to, like, do tricks and stuff. Just a layout with the colors I want with the picture I want as a background and some links to my game info from the main comm to the OOC comm. =3

Uh, yeah, it's called "easy code found in the FAQ that Terri knows how to do" and "fancy shit that Terri knows nothing of, and goes to the teenager or husband to make them do it for her." Perhaps we should make a support group for people like us, lol.

I don't know how to do the background image stuff, but I know someone who does. That person loves me likes me alot, and is probably willing to indulge my questions, since they tried to teach me in the past. ^^

If no one knowledgeable steps up to help, I'll see what I can accomplish.

One question:

Also, it was my job to code in HTML for a year or too. I later learned XML. I also know Java, Perl, and FORTRAN.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, I could potentially puzzle out the details and do your LJ thing for you.

I don't think it's the kind of RP you'd be interested in. You'd probably get annoyed.
