Today, for the first time, on the grand stage of the Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Brigham and Women's hospital, I:

1. Passed out... on top of an L-VAD.

2. Stuck myself with a needle.

3. Got a recommendation for Brigham's new-grad ICU program (AKA my dream job).

Three's the charm, I suppose!
