Magakrampi & Blanda on the Super Cultural Panorama podcast with Geoff Collens
Colin & Mingo started podcasting almost five years ago and are planning to resume creating new podcasts in the near future. We have a lot more "fans" (in the Facebook sense) now, so we're going to review the old podcasts to let everyone catch up.
The first podcast was called "Magakrampi & Blanda on the Super Cultural Panorama podcast with Geoff Collens." We did not yet have an intro or a music bed. We got a lot better with the production values as the podcast series progressed :) The lack of music makes the recording feel a little dry, but please stick with it :)
We introduced the enigmatic musical supergroup "Magakrampi & Blanda", supposedly from Iceland, but in this interview I would best characterize the accent as "Canuck". Makes sense due to the specific musical influences cited :)
We get to hear an instrumental track from Magakrampi & Blanda which was untitled at the time but would later be called "M.A.S.S." and later appeared on their debut release, "Spurning." (This track makes up about 2 minutes of the 7:39 running time of the podcast.)
