“Thank you. Enjoy your trip,” exclaims Ryan in an overly cheery voice. God, he hates his job. AAA, what fun! But really, he only has himself to blame. He applied here. But if anyone asks him why he’s still working there, he blames Spencer. Spencer, his motherly, bitchy best friend who’s making him keep his job.

“If you want to pay off your tuition, you need to keep this job,” persists Spencer. Ryan sighs. He always gets mad at Spencer about that when he’s actually right. Ryan needs this job so he can stay in school.

He sighs again as he hears the bell ring in the front of the store. He looks up and sees a family come in. They look like the average family. Two parents and two children; one boy and one girl. The mom is of average height and build with brown eyes and light brown hair. The father is about six inches taller than his wife with dark brown eyes and hair.

The children seem to each favor a parent. The girl, who has to be around 13, favors her mom with matching light brown hair and eyes. Her hair’s hanging in a generic ponytail and she currently zoned out with her ear buds in. The boy has to be around Ryan’s age, 19 or something, and seems to favor his father’s genetics. He has wide coco brown eyes with a mess of black hair on his head that seems out of place in the family. Ryan’s eyes sweep over him. He’s defiantly good looking. With a skinny frame, long legs and sexy yet feminine hips, Ryan can see genetic have obviously been extremely kind to this boy.

Ryan stops staring at the boy and internally scolds himself. He’s not supposed to flirt with customers. It’s not against policy, but it is frowned upon. Besides, the boy is most likely straight. Ryan sighs but then puts on a smile and faces the family.

“Hello! I’m Ryan and I’ll be helping you find where you want to go. How are you today?” The parents smile at him, while the daughter seems to not notice that Ryan’s there. The boy is another story. He’s full out staring at Ryan. Ryan sees the boy’s eyes do a full sweep over Ryan’s body. Ryan smiles a genuine smile. So maybe he was wrong about the straight guess.

“Good,” says the mom. Ryan turns his attention back to her. “We’re looking for a nice vacation spot nearby. We don’t have a lot of money and we want to stay local.” Ryan nods.

“Ok. I can help you guys in the office. Follow me please.” Ryan turns and walks to his office. As he’s looking over his shoulder he sees the boy staring at his ass. He smiles and starts to discreetly sway his hips a little. He can practically feel the boy’s wantful gaze on the back of his ass.
Ryan leads the family into his office and gestures towards the chairs. “Take a seat please.” He sits down on the other side of his neatly organized desk. “So may I first know who I have the pleasure of meeting?”

“I’m Emily Urie,” says the woman. “This is my husband Thomas and our children Madi and Brendon.” Ryan smiles and shakes each of their hands.

“Nice to meet you.” Brendon makes a small squeak as Ryan shakes his hand. Ryan raises his eyebrow at him. Brendon’s face goes a flaming red and Ryan lets his face go into a relaxed smile. “OK. First of all, anything specific about where you want to go?”

“We defiantly want some place warm. But well… this is Nevada. It’s warm all over,” says Thomas. Ryan chuckles lightly.

“Yeah well, anything besides a warm climate?”

“A beach would be nice,” inputs Madi, as she flips through her songs. The parents nod. Ryan types that into the company’s database.

“Ok. Anything more specific?”

“A place with a nice view,” says Brendon. Ryan smiles at the sound of Brendon’s voice. It’s nice. The tone is sort of deep with a hyper/ soothing mood that most people wouldn’t notice.

“Excellent choice,” he says looking up from his computer to look at Brendon. Brendon blushes again and looks down at his feet. He types it up and scrolls through the choices. He smiles and pulls out the booklet for what he thinks, is the best place to go.

“OK. So for you a great place to visit is defiantly the South Tahoe beach.” He turns the booklet around and shows the Urie’s the picture. “It’s Nevada’s biggest beach. It’s a mile stretch and it’s around 300 yards wide. For your view, there’s a great view of the mountains with a scenic hiking trail nearby. For a hotel I recommend the Marriott. For a two bedroom for four people it’s around $135.00 a night. It may seem expensive but it’s one of the nicer places around there and it’s not too far from the beach.” The Urie’s scroll through the pamphlet.

“This place looks great,” fauns Emily. The rest of her family nods. “May we keep the pamphlet?” Ryan nods.

“Of course. We have a million.” She puts it in her purse. “Here’s the name of the hotel.” He hands it to Thomas. He smiles and shakes Ryan’s hand.

“Thank you.”

“No problem.” Ryan gets up from his desk and shows the Urie’s out. As they’re walking he smiles at Brendon. Brendon’s face yet again goes as red as a tomato. He opens the door and holds it open for them. “Enjoy your trip!” They wave goodbye and Ryan heads back in, feeling a little bit better.

The next week Ryan’s back to being his usually ‘I hate this job! I hate the world’ self. He just had to deal with this homophobic couple who for ten minutes described to him how gays are going to burn in hell. He just tuned them out and tried to find them the best deal he could.

He’s got ten minutes till lunch break when he hears the bell on the door again. He sighs and walks out to greet whoever it is. He doesn’t even bother to look.

“Hi! I’m Ryan. How many I assist you?”

“Um… Hey Ryan,” mummers a familiar voice. Ryan’s head whips up. Sure enough, there’s Brendon, the boy who wouldn’t stop blushing around him. Ryan smiles.

“Hey Brendon. Back so soon? Going on another trip? Going to see all the great things Nevada has to offer?” Brendon bites his lip and smiles at how cute he looks when he’s nervous.

“Actually I came here to see you,” he says sheepishly. Ryan’s eyes widen.

“Really?!”

“Um… yeah. I wanted to know if… do you want to go out sometime?” Ryan grins. He walks up to Brendon until they’re face to face. He kisses
Brendon’s cheek.

“Yes. Yes I would. I was actually hoping you’d ask.” Brendon breaks out into a relived grin.

“Seriously?” Ryan nods.

“Yep. Also be more discreet when checking out my ass.” Brendon’s face goes deep red again. “So do you like Chinese food?”
