It's been snowing more often, lately. It makes walking to and from the apartment a little less pleasant, but in a way it's a good thing. I don't remember too much snow in November or December. It's like the winter is trying to leave a lasting impression before spring comes and we forget all about it. Some things'll be nicer once they're gone, like ( Read more... )

I think I've seen enough snow for several lifetimes, honestly. But seeing you smile is very different and, and worth the cold.

I remember warming up in front of your grandmother's fire during the winter. Sometimes she gave us hot chocolate or tea.

You always got covered in snow. You'd drip on the floor, remember? She made the best tea.
