we a still at home. we boarded up the windows and got lots of water set aside. I talked with asha and her brother and told them to do the same and to clear their yard of possible projectiles, since whatever it is that the wind picks up might not actually hit their house, but could be thrust against someone else's. But at least right now its looking like the winds here might only be as bad as 60 - 65mph.

its actually not looking like its going to be as bad as everyone thought. now we just have to worry about normal hurricane stuff for houston, which is flooding and wind. its not going to be too bad.
