Last week at this time, it was snowing, and DC was braced for the most snowfall we'd seen in four years. This week, it got up to 60 degrees and for the first time this winter, I wore shoes that aren't boots! Ah, Maryland weather. Shine on, you crazy diamond

I really got into watching ski jumping for some reason.

We have been all about the snowboard events. Snowboard cross, omg!

yes, snowboard events! snowboard cross is such drama. Along with slopestyle and halfpipe Glad to see my X-Games favorite Podlatchikov get gold, though it came at the expense of Shaun White. And the US woman who won halfpipe gold was great and adorable. And Sina Candrian did something legendary. And Eva Samková was so cool in the women's snowboard cross. I also watched the alpine snowboard event where two racers go down a Super-G? hill. I don't know if the finals have happened yet but it's cute that there's a husband and wife competing in the men's and women's finals for that event.

Snowboard cross *is* such drama! You think you know who's going to win it and then BAM! three competitors have taken each other out.

Loved watching the halfpipe, though I felt bad for Shaun White. But Podlatchikov was just adorable when the results were in, and was such a good sport throughout.

That is really cute! Hopefully they'll show some tonight - I literally cannot watch during the day, so I rely upon primetime for my Olympics fix.
