It's true. The "meat industry" is so fucking awful, it's astonishing. PETA has loads of undercover footage that is terrifying and heartbreaking - I absolutely refuse to watch them because it makes me cry. It's despicable and disgusting the way animals are treated. That's why I can't understand why people love destroying and eating animals, wearing their skins, using their body parts, etc. I hate preaching about it, but it's a GIANT part of my life and I have to stand up for what I believe in. I have to praise veganism and do what I can to show people the truth. That's what PETA does. I support them, I'm a PETA member and a huge fan. I know they do some pretty hardcore things, but it's their passion and commitment that I admire ( ... )

I don't eat a lot of meat. I think I have it once or twice a week. That's about the best I can cut it down to....:(

You do what's right for you, I'm not judging or demanding my friends to convert. There's no point in aggressively forcing my beliefs onto people and trying to convince them - a 2007 poll estimated that only 5% of America are vegetarians. There are roughly 2,000,000 vegans in the US (population 302,000,000). That's only .006%. So, it's clearly not for everybody ( ... )
