Snapple held an event in Union Square at 12:30 today to launch their new ice pops. They created an "Ice Scraper" a two-and-a-half story tall, 20-ton, kiwi strawberry-flavored ice pop to celebrate the first day of summer and to beat the Guinness World Record for the World Biggest Ice Pop. The giant ice pop melted and flooded the street.
It was just on NY1 with fire engines trying to clean up the mess and there were angry people being interviewed including one man with his elbow gushing blood saying that he slipped on the ice and it was like an oil spill! The representatives from the Guinness Book were there and said that it didn't break the record for the World's Biggest Ice Pop.
