Instead of just hoping, I actually did something about it late last week.
Dear Central Ybor Theater Manager,
I really enjoy seeing movies in the Central Ybor Premier Theater. It's great to be able to enjoy a movie without being distracted by children asking questions, crying, or being yelled at by their parents.
I'm a huge Tim Burton fan, and while I was disappointed that Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was only shown in the Premier Theater for a short time, while The Wedding Crashers has been in it for months now, I still appreciated that it was even there at all...but I would have gone to see Charlie again and again had it been in the Premier Theater for longer.
Regardless, here is the point of my letter: I'm requesting that Corpse Bride be shown in the Central Ybor Premier theater for at least a couple of weeks. I know that myself, as well as my friends, will definitely want to see this movie multiple times, but I refuse to pay good money to see a movie in a regular theater with children to distract from the entertainment. I am happy, however, to pay more to see it in the Premier Theater, and being able to enjoy a beer or two with my friends prior to the movie in the bar area is a definite plus, as well.
I'm not sure if you've already made the theater schedule for the weekend of the 23rd, but if you haven't, I sure would appreciate it if you would take my request into consideration. Thanks for your time, and I look forward to continue doing business with you in the future.
